Lahmacun Vegan From Antepliler
Lahmacun is one of the most important dishes of Turkish eating and drinking culture. According to historical records, it is claimed that “lahmacun” left over from Babylon has a history of 5000 years. It is an eastern flavor almost as old as human history.
Lahmacun which is common in Turkey’s eastern province, has spread throughout the country after 1960. The ingredients may vary according to the region or season.
Lahmacun, known as Turkish pizza, is an Anatolian and Middle Eastern dish, set out ingredients (such as minced meat, parsley, onion, garlic and black pepper, isot (red pepper)) on the dough and then cooked in a stone oven.
Unlike pizza, no cheese is used and the dough is thinner.
Lahmacun can be eaten before the main course or as a main course.
Recommend to eat Lahmacun with parsley, onion, a little tomato and lots of lemon.
Also you can served it with Yogurt drink/ayran.
